Parker's Infatuation

Parker is absolutely infatuated with the movie "Spirit". Have you ever seen it?We were searching through all the old videos here at the house a while back, looking for movies that had horses in them because Parker just loves horses, and we came across this one. He is now infatuated with this movie!!
I had never seen the movie before Parker, and now I have seen it millions of times (at least it feels like it). It's a story about a wild mustang, who tells his story of being free. There isn't a whole lot of talking, but the soundtrack is beautiful!
Every morning, after breakfast, he stands at the television and begs to watch it. Instead of saying "horse", he says "neigh". So, he points to the tv and repeatedly says "neigh" until we put the movie in.
This movie is about 1.5 hours long and he will sit as still as can be on the couch or on his stuffed horse for the entire thing! Usually kids lose interest in movies/shows after the first 20 min. Not Parker! He can't take his eyes off of this movie while it is on.

There's some Indians in the movie, and Parker has asked me to take off his shirt so he can look like the Indian in the movie. It was adorable!

We have put a limit on how many times he watches it in a day. Right now, it's 3 times a day. It seems like a lot, but it's not like I'm forcing him to sit and watch it as a "babysitter". He BEGS for it!!

I've never seen a baby more in love with horses than Parker. He watches this movie quite a bit, he stands at the window and watches the real horses outside, and he loves to ride the horses!

We only have "Spirit" on VHS right now, but Brad just ordered him the DVD from amazon.com. So, we will have a back-up in case anything happens to either one of them.

I think I'm either going to have a cowboy or a quarterback for a son in the future. I'm okay with that though :0)
