End of the Year Party

Today was Halle's "End of the Year" party at school. Although they have 2 more days of school left, they celebrated the end of the year today. We made visors with foam letters for each student, had ice cream sundaes, and each kid got their diploma. It was a nice celebration to finish off the year. We absolutely loved Ms. Gullatte (her teacher) and will miss her next year. She was a great first teacher for Halle to have. Halle is excited for the summer, but also doesn't want school to end. She is already talking about doing activity books during the summer and practicing her reading and spelling with me. Halle LOVES school!!!
This is Mrs. Gullatte- Halle's Kindergarten TeacherThis is Ms. Porter- Assistant Teacher
This was the visor we made. Halle put her initials on it!

This is a book that Halle made. It is titled "The ABC's of Kindergarten". It is a hard covered book and all the pages are dedicated to the letters of the alphabet. For example, on page one, she wrote "A is for apple" and she drew a picture of an apple tree. The sweetest part about the whole book was that she dedicated it to her "baby brother". She said she wants him to learn his ABC's when he gets older. It was so precious.

This is Halle with her Kindergarten Diploma. It's official! She successfully passed kindergarten.
Here's some of her friends from class.

I can't believe kindergarten is over and we are on to 1st grade. This year sure went by fast!!
